Dr. Kent Julius, owner and founder of Legacy Veterinary Hospital, received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1999. During veterinary school he worked as a research assistant grant program that involved trapping and releasing wildlife near swine farms to determine the spread of viruses. He also served as a research assistant in the U of I Toxicology Lab for three years.

Dr. John Roberts joined Legacy Veterinary Hospital in November 2009. He received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 1992 and his DVM from Ross University in 1996. Prior to joining Legacy Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Roberts worked in Highland Village for the previous 6 years. It is a bit of a homecoming for Dr Roberts to work for Dr Julius, as they worked together in Carrollton almost 10 years ago.

Dr. Brent Brewer joined Legacy Veterinary Hospital in January, 2010. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1994 and his MRCVS (Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) from the Royal Veterinary College at the University of London, UK in 2001. Prior to joining Legacy Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Brewer spent 4 years at Prestonwood Pet Clinic in North Dallas and another 3 years at Creature Comforts Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV before returning to Dallas to work as a relief veterinarian for the last year.

Kelley Thomson Kelley joined the Legacy Veterinary team as Practice Manager in May 2010. Kelley has been involved with animals all of her life and plays an active role with English Bulldog rescue. Although business operations are her primary responsibility, she enjoys interacting daily with our clients and patients and truly feels that she has found a home at LVH. Kelley devotes her free time to her husband, two human children and her 2 English Bulldogs, Argos and Magnus and Dachshund, Buster at home.

Michael Lisotta Michael started working at Legacy Veterinary Hospital in July of 2008.  He has a passion for client and patient care and shares his knowledge daily with our clients and staff. Michael began his veterinary career as a technician almost 2 decades ago and has since worked in and has knowledge of every aspect of the hospital. He enjoys working with all animals, and moved to DFW when he was 24 years old. Michael now calls Frisco/Little Elm home. In his extra time he enjoys pet sitting.

Athena Harkin Moore Athena is a professional pet stylist at Legacy Veterinarian Hospital. She has been a pet stylist for over six years and is very familiar with all dog breeds, as well as cats. Athena moved from city of West to Frisco when she began working at Legacy. Athena loves her clients and the staff at Legacy, and could not see working anywhere else. In her free time Athena and her husband love to ride horses, wake board, and spend time with their animals. Her animals include three dachshunds, a Chihuahua, a beagle, a cocker spaniel, a cat, and two horses. Athena would love to meet your four legged friend!

Jennine Walters has been a loving addition to our Legacy Vet team since November 2009. Jennine is devoted to her chosen career as Manager of Nursing and Technicians and continually displays her passion for the care of animals in her daily work. In her free time, Jennine has 6 dogs and 2 cats that she cares for with her husband and 3 children.

Colton Jones has been a dedicated LVH team member since October of 2009.  In addition to Colton's duties as Inventory Manager, he loves helping keep animals in their best health by working with them as one of our knowledgeable technicians. At home, he has an 8 year old Yorkie and a 3 year old Pit Bull. When Colton is not working he enjoys hunting wildlife and fishing.

Jen Kapp Jen joined the team at Legacy Veterinary Hospital in January 2011.  She has been working in the animal care field for over 10 years when she began working at the SPCA of Dallas.  She is dedicated to ensuring our clients receive outstanding customer service while in our hospital.  She spends her free time chasing her four nephews, reading, swimming, hiking and camping.
