This area is one the busiest areas in our hospital. With views from the reception area you can watch the pets get their “spa” day and haircuts. Don’t forget to ask about our bath packages, and “perfect pooch” packages.
Why is it important to Groom Your Pet?
Good grooming is about more than just making your pet look and smell nice. It is also an opportunity to identify potential health issues.
FUR: When your pet’s fur gets too long, your pet can get hairballs (dogs too!) Severe hairballs can cause stomach or intestinal blockages. A good groomer will also find ticks and other external parasites that may be difficult to see.
EYES: Your pet’s eyes should be nice and clear. Your groomer can easily identify an optical issue that requires a veterinarian.
EARS: Ears need to be checked and cleaned routinely. If there is wax or dirt build-up, very quickly long term hearing problems can occur. Your groomer can also recommend easy techniques for keeping your pet’s ears clean at home.
